Jacqueline Anne Julio, O.D., F.A.A.O. attended Georgetown University where she received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Mathematics and Studio Art. Dr. Julio received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry and completed her residency in Ocular Disease at VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in North Las Vegas, Nev. Dr. Julio is also a new Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Julio is board-certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases and glaucoma. Dr. Julio is a member of the Nevada Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and the American Optometric Association. She is also the Clinical Director of Nevada for the Special Olympics Lion’s International Opening Eyes Program.
Dr. Julio joined Shepherd Eye Center in 2021. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, kick boxing, and spending quality time with her family and dogs. She has intermediate fluency in Spanish.
