
Marshall Hill, D.O. is a board certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in routine and complex cataract surgery, refractive surgery, early glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, and the treatment of dry eyes. He is also experienced in the diagnosis of macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. His surgical expertise includes a focus on premium intraocular lens placement in both routine and laser-assisted cataract surgery. He has extensive experience in laser refractive surgery including LASIK and PRK, and he is one of the few certified EVO ICL (intracollamer lens) surgeons in the greater Las Vegas area.
Dr. Hill received his medical degree from A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri and graduated with honors in as part of the Sigma Sigma Phi honors society. He then completed his internship and residency programs at the San Antonio Military Medical Center in Texas, where he was selected as Chief Resident for his final year of residency. Part of his training included extensive surgical training and research at the Air Force Warfighter Refractive Surgery Center at Lackland Air Force Base.
Following his training, Dr. Hill served for 4-years on active duty for the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia where he served as Chief of Ophthalmology and Chief of The Warfighter Refractive Surgery Program at Winn Army Community Hospital. During his years of service there, Dr. Hill had the privilege of performing over 2500 refractive surgery procedures on active duty military members, including members of all branches of the military. He considers being able to help these service members be prepared to protect our country as one of the greatest privileges of his life.
Dr. Hill is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
When Dr. Hill is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, traveling, and playing golf and basketball.
